I am a filmmaker with a keen eye for arresting images and a love of story.
Following 15 years working on and managing demanding social projects in the homelessness, drug treatment and youth sectors, I made a career change - I attained a Masters in Film & Television Production from Bristol University. The work is different, but my fascination with people and their stories remains the same.
Since 2010 I have worked for a variety of production companies and independents, as well as charities and big brands. From the BBC, to Adidas, to the Salvation Army, I’ve been part of some amazing, and award-winning productions.
As well as directing in a variety of genres, I have worked as DOP on many shorts and on my first feature ‘Hedda’ in 2013. I also freelance as a lighting camera operator and enjoy working as part of a crew or self-shooting.
From drama to documentary, comedy to corporate, producing content for television, web, and the big screen, I aim to bring real thought, quality, and commitment to everything I do. View my showreel or check out films I have made.
“Kris is energetic, adaptable, self motivated, and gets on fantastically with others. He pours his heart into his work, is always willing to muck in, has great attention to detail and works well under pressure.”
